Moved to NYC 6 months ago, I’ve had a lot of over hyped subpar food. This isn’t one of them. Outstanding falafel Gyro at a great price 5 out of 5 recommend.

I ordered a chicken over rice, which is delicious and only $8. Kazi’s service is excellent too. One of the best halal carts I’ve tried in NYC!

I order mixed salad (chicken and lamb). It was really tasty, but lamb was a little bit overcooked. Definitely, I would highly recommend the chicken one.

"Absolutely fantastic! The stall is spotless, the service is warm, and the food is bursting with fresh, authentic flavors. Every bite feels like it’s made with love – definitely coming back for more!"

In the Dumbo area there are many halal carts, but none as good as Kazi Halal. Kazi is a standout in the quality of the meat and the quantity of the proportions. I ordered the lamb over rice and for 9 dollars, Kazi Halal Food is an exemplary Halal cart. In the age of “Halal-ificiation”, I commend this cart for its fair price when other carts are selling a worse lamb over rice for 12-13 dollars. There is no bullshit with this cart. No terrible processes veggies mixed with the meat to get you full. Simple in design. Speedy in delivery. Super fresh. This is the real thing and why Halal carts are so beloved in New York.

Mr. Kazi knows his business well and executes to perfection. This is hands down the best Halal cart in the Downtown Brooklyn area! Extremely tender meat, both lamb and chicken, perfectly cooked, well-seasoned rice and a good balance of flavors.
